Another solo trip today, so decided to carry on where I left off last week at the Gasworks. Not much to say about today's dig really, as the tip lived up to its reputation. Tons of ash shifted, with virtually nothing coming out. The best find was the little clear glass Dopey bottle, but nothing else worth mentioning was found. It was a nice warm day, but we were constantly interrupted by friendly fishermen chasing the flood after yesterday's torrential rain. Several stopped for a chat, but sadly none knew of any potential sites along the river.

The day's meagre finds:
Caernarfon was an important seaport at one time. Perhaps this came from the East with one of the local mariners?
